Right now, your family and community need you to help stop the spread of COVID-19. If you get COVID-19, you can’t provide for your family and protect your community.
Spend time with only the people you live with to lower your risk of getting or spreading COVID-19.
You can keep your family protected while still staying connected through various forms of technology.
If you are within 6 feet of the COVID positive household member for 15 cumulative minutes (over the period of a day) or more, you have been re-exposed and your 10-day quarantine must start over.
- During critical staffing shortages when there are not
enough staff to provide safe patient care, essential critical
infrastructure workers in the following categories are not
prohibited from returning after Day 7 from the date of last
exposure if they have received a negative PCR test result
from a specimen collected after Day 5.
You must isolate and cannot go to work/school.
COVID-19 symptoms are similar to the flu and involve fever, coughing, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, fatigue, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, or new loss of taste or smell.
Symptoms can be mild or severe. Those who have COVID-19 can have fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. People who are very ill with COVID-19 can have pneumonia.
You can return to work/school when all of these are true:
